I feel better already.

Sarcasm aside, this is not a time for resignation or paralysis. Rooted in our everyday relationships and reality, it's a time to respond in the ways that are available to us. No guilt or frustration about not being powerful or active enough to solve our common threats: every action has effect.

And, no, we don't have the luxury of knowing the precise effect of our actions. Neither do we have licence to stop being with each other for the good of each other.
